Who We Are
Our History and Business Philosophy
Century Saw & Tool has been in the tooling business for over 40 years. In late 1996, owners, Ray Gauer and Howard Denard, decided it was time to retire and began the process of finding a buyer for the company. They were looking for a buyer that would carry on the business into the future. This is where Tim and Paul Hicks entered the picture. The brothers come from several generations of Waco small business owners, and the two had long dreamed of going into business together. Ray and Howard provided them with that opportunity by selling them the assets of Century Saw & Tool in April of 1997. That future has now lasted for more than 20 years.
Tim and Paul Hicks, still believe that an honest and straight-forward approach to business is appreciated by our customers. That is why Century Saw & Tool strives for 100% customer satisfaction, and in fact, we guarantee it. Total customer satisfaction, through professional service, is our goal.
